Sage Builders is excited to learn that the new Green Builder Coalition launched earlier this month and will serve as non-profit organization that is dedicated to achieving balance between the built and natural environments, according to its web site.
Created by pioneers of the green building and sustainability movement, the coalition will serve as a new platform to provide a common voice for those devoted to sustainable living.
“We believe that every person has a stake in sustainable development as the key to a better future,” says Ron Jones, Founding Chairman of the Coalition’s Board of Directors. “We are all inextricably tied to the relationship between the built environment and the natural one, whether we are engaged in the building industry or not. Together, we’ll promote sustainable living through our advocacy, outreach, information sharing, and educational efforts.”
